Tire and Metal Collection
All residents are invited to bring:
* Any type of scrap metal including:
- steel, aluminum, wrought iron, etc.
- old lawn mowers, snowblowers and other machinery - these must be emptied of all fluids (i.e. oils and gas) and gas caps removed.
- car parts—again, empty of any fluids.
- tire rims
- NO AC units or refrigerators with freon.
- Tires
- it’s okay if tires are attached to rims, we can dismantle and put rims in
metal collection.
- NO oversized tires accepted— i.e. no tractor tires or semi-trailer tires.
City Staff will be on hand with Washington County Recycling Information for Hazardous Waste including disposing of used oils and gas. If you have any questions call City Hall, 651-436-7031.
