Garlic mustard (Alliaria petiolata) was likely brought to the United States for food or medicinal purposes in the 1800s. It can be spread by transporting mud that contains its tiny seeds, so it is often found along highly-trafficked trails. Garlic mustard forms thick mats that shade and outcompete native plant species and it can impede natural forest regeneration by producing chemicals that reduce growth of other plants.

General Senior Citizen Pass Information
- District residents 60 and older are eligible to receive a Senior Activity Pass.
- Senior passes can be used for FREE admission to Stillwater Area High School athletic and fine arts performances.
- All senior pass holders should be registered on the district pass list; when provided a senior pass, your name will be added to our list.
- Senior passes do not expire. Passes are not transferable.
- Senior passes can be picked up at our Central Services Building at 1875 Greeley St. S. in Stillwater, or call 651-351-8340 to have it mailed.

Washington County Veteran Services provides responsive, timely, accurate and compassionate assistance to Veterans, their dependents and survivors in applying for federal, state and local benefits. In recognition of their service to our nation we act as their advocates. We work with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs, nationally chartered Veteran Service Organizations and local organizations/resources to ensure Washington County Veterans, their dependents and survivors get the benefits they have rightfully earned.
